A fun way for children from 8 -14 to express their creative talents and explore their imagination. Courses are run by a Montessori Teacher. Each child is encouraged to explore different sewing mediums to enable them to create individual pieces, building confidence and leading to self discovery.
Following a hugely successful study over the summer 2009 we are delighted to announce we will be continuing the structured courses on Saturday afternoons from (2pm-4.30pm) January 16th 2010. Classes will run for 6 weeks.
Places will be limited and we urge you to book early to avoid disappointment as we wish to keep the classes small in order to provide individual instruction. The 6 weeks courses will be geared towards beginner sewing, with instructions for hand sewing and an introduction to the use of sewing machines, fabric selection and basic sewing techniques.
The courses will be fun sewing and will be geared for children aged 8 -14 years. Each course is €165.00. This is inclusive of all materials used.
