Due to the phenomenal success of the recently introduced Dress-making courses - we are now taking bookings for courses week commencing Monday 25th January 2010.
Content of classes, times and dates are as follows.
DRESS-MAKING The dress-making Course is 3 hours once a week for 8 weeks. Mornings are 9.30 - 12.30, afternoons are 2 - 5, and evening are 7 -10. Classes are small, 8, enabling the tutor to give each attendee specific attention. In lieu of this the class is made up of a combination of those with experience and those without. Those attending with no experience will be taught how to make up a garment of their choice in silk. It involves the following of a pattern, transferring onto a "calico" and then finally onto the silk. Those with experience will be working with the tutor on the more specifics again based on the knowledge already known.
The cost is €380 and it is inclusive of silks used to a maximum of €80. There is a 20% discount of all silks purchased thereafter.
A certificate will be issued on completion of each course.

2. Week commencing Monday, 12th April (Class scheduled for Monday, May 3rd - bank holiday - will be held on Thursday, 6th May 2010)
